Summary:
Overall probably the best game I've ever owned. I've played many many strategy games, but i keep finding myself coming back to StarCraft. Even after buying WarCraft 3, which is a good game anyway, I still wind up playing StarCraft (Brood War) at least monthly. I remember this game was in competition (in the late 90's) with C&C: Tiberian Sun. TS came out at least a year afterwards, and this game still kicked it's ass.
I remember playing this game over dial-up internet with my buddy in 7th grade. Just last month I played a game with him...and I'm a freshman in college, that's how good this game is.

Summary:
Overall this is a great game. It allows you to play as three different races. In all their is a total of thirty missions. As a sequel to the original game, Starcraft, it does a great job of picking up where the last game left off.

Summary:
The only game that can hold a candle to Brood War is the original StarCraft. Blizzard needs to sequel this game. They did Diablo and WarCraft, it is time for them to step back up to the plate and do StarCraft. Brood War's story is fantastic. The only reason it isn't better than StarCraft's is because in Starcraft, it was all new and tremendously exciting, innovative and engrossing. But Brood War had tremendous justice done to its own story.

Summary:
Overall this game is the finest strategy game ever made. It has a totally engrossing story with a fantastic single player campaign. The sound, graphics, and frame rate are fantastic(even though they are 5 years old). But the true gem of Starcraft BroodWar is the multiplayer. Its is just absolutely addictive. There is no strategy game better than this one and you'd be hard pressed to find a better overall game. Thsi is by far my favorite RTS and Game of all time.
