Price Paid:  $30.00 from Sam's Club

Summary:
This game involved kill monstrocities than have been birthed on account of some evil virus. While reminding me of multiple games, Fallout, Sydnicate Wars and the like it failed to really grasp me. The construciton and training of units in the field was the only thing that kept me playing. In order to stay interested in the game one must read all the information and research writings in the game. I'm not big on reading a lot of stuff to get interested in a game, if the game can't grasp me it isn't worth trying to be grasped by. In other words I didn't feel like spending too much time on the game. I did try to stay with the story and action of stopping the abominations but alas it began to bore me and iritate my senses.

Price Paid:  $10.00 from Electronics Boutique

Summary:
I first heard of this from a demo CD which I played for ages, then eventually found the full game in a shop for a tenner. And it was excellent value I have to say, as this is easily one of my favourite games, which says a lot as I have a pretty good collection. It goes somewhere between Syndicate and X-com, with a bit of something sinister and twisted thrown in, and the atmosphere is one of the game's strong points.
It's basically a kill-the-monsters-save-the-city-stop-an-evil-ancient-conspiracy type affair, and it's pulled off very well, the plot's fascinating and quite different, which adds to the interest in my opinion. Also you're fighting artificial zombie/frankensteins kind of things instead of aliens, which is better than chucking aliens in just so the plot doesn't have to explain itself well. Well, I think so anyway.

Price Paid:  $15.00 from FNAC

Summary:
This game is awesome. The whole general atmosphere, the concept, is amazing. I'd say it is one of the best squad-based strategy games. I onl have one thing against it: No research. Being a fan of the X-Com series (yes, even X-Com Interceptor)I wanted to research the corpses, like in the short-stories of the manual, but nooo. It's automated. Damn.

Summary:
Excellent game, this is one of the best action/strategy games I have ever played. It has an excellent mood, very dark and visceral. It has a bit of a learning curve(my friends all claim it did, anyway)but anyone familiar with Syndicate or Synicate Wars will have no problem with it. It has an amazingly well developed plot line, when you consider that everything is randomized(hell, a great plot line for any game).

Summary:
Well, if you're like me, your probably always searching for a good game. Eidos's Abomination has taught me one thing...KEEP SEARCHING. This game is horrible, and should only cost around 15$ or so....but it's priced 39.99!! Buy someting else, and you'll be a lot happier than you would buying this game.
