Summary: I played the first Airport Tycoon. I spent hours trying to learn how to work through the horrible interface. Once I got through the interface however, it wasn't that bad of a game. I really enjoyed designing the terminals. When I saw Airport tycoon 2 I was overcome with joy. I bought the game took it home, and installed it. It didn't work. I went out and spent 100 dollars on a new graphics card so that I could play it. I feel like a complete idiot. This game is the biggest piece of crap I have ever encountered.
Summary: I have to say I was hopefull that a simulation based on something as dynamic as an airport would make a good pc game. Well, unfortunatly, the only thing good about this game is the theme. My bottom line is that I have never played a poorer sim game in my life.
Summary: Man, this game is the worst game I have ever played, I have airport tycoon, and that was a let down. I mean at least there are some things I could do in the first verson, but this one is so horrible, I can't even tell you. If I could vote 0 I would, please, please please! Save your money and get something else.
Summary: I have the first Airport Tycoon,released some years ago.With all it's flaws,Airport Tycoon is not a bad game.Well.........Here comes Airport Tycoon II,the one gamers have been anxiously waiting on.Our hopes were Global star would iron out the snags we encountered in the first version.Didn't happen!!!!
In fact this new version offers very little the first Airport Tycoon had going on for itself.They took away so many features,they added some inconsequential ones that don't add up to zip.
In the first version players had inside views of the terminal(s),departure and arrival views of the airplane,Taxi cab views as it carries passengers throuhout the airport facility.The creators of Airport Tycoon II didn't bother to include these features.I could go on and on with what they left out.
One would think that a new version of a product normally means improvements on the earlier version,guess Global don't operate like that.This new version is nothing but a ripoff.I actually e-mailed them how disappointed I was and that I wanted my money back.It's been 2 weeks now,haven't got a response yet.
