Summary:
I don't play many games that require a gamepad but the ones that I do, I have played heavily. I can say that I've tested this gamepad thoroughly and it is a solid piece of equipment. There are 10 buttons. They are all well placed with 4 action buttons and 4 trigger buttons which is far more efficient than the alternative 6 action button 2 trigger button configuration that most controllers have adopted. Doesn't it make sense to spread the workload around instead of overworking your thumb? I've never needed that many buttons anyways. The precision button is a nice option that I've never needed either. It basically drastically lowers the sensitivity of the the D-Pad at the push of a button. The gravis software works for Windows 98 and ME but NEVER EVER install the gravis software for XP. You'll find that thier software has major issues with xp and you will be having device errors. I found myself buying a new gamepad because I thought that I had broken the first one. The gamepad runs fine without the software which was never really needed in the first place. I'm not going to give this controller a bad review based upon bad software. The only thing that this gamepad is missing is force feedback. The price is not too high. It is a above average gamepad for an average price.
