Summary: Oh, COME ON! Why is there only about thirty games on the CD-rom? Games for the Atari 2600 are only about 4 or 8Ks of space. That would add up to roughly about 150 kilobytes of space. Yea, I would fit this who thing on a floppy disk, and still have more space left in it. So why did they waste a CD room? I bet you that on this CD, they used about a tenth of a space on this, while I can fit a thousand copies of this on a single CD. Perhaps that there should of been 300 games on this. Puting so few Atari games on this is a waste of money to the company, and a waste of CD material. I hope that if they make another Atari Classics CD, then perhaps that they should of put down 500 games on it, instead of 30. It would of been nice to let me program my own Atari game for it, too.
And, if you want to play the real Atari games, then please get the Atari 2600 carts instead. At fifty cents a piece, you can buy this games at about half price, and get perfect sounds. Report this review >>
