Review NaN of 2

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
Simply put, just a masterpiece of platforming goodness. Vibrant colors, varied gameplay and spot-on controls complete the package. I can remember first getting it back in '96 and being completely amazed & entranced by the graphics, truly a beautiful game. Even better is playing the game on the PS2 with its backwards-compatiblity and smoothed graphics option turned on. You'll be amazed at how much this improves the gameplay experience (this applies to practically all PSOne games played on the PS2). Crash Bandicoot on the PSOne was truly a watershed videogame & helped define Sony's first gaming machine. An instant classic and one of my all-time favorites!

Strengths:
-Great introduction to one of the greatest & most recognizable videogame icons ever created
-Incredible graphics
-Detailed & vibrant environments
-Varied & challenging platforming mechanics (side-scroller, 3rd-person both facing & behind Crash)
-Precise controls
-Good length
-Terrifically polished, an instant classic!

Weaknesses:
-Can be abit difficult in spots but persistence will pay off

, from Nebraskee

Price Paid:  $20.00 from Wal - to tha - Mart

Summary:
Personally, this is one o' my favorite platformers. I think that this one is far better that the next two, and ESPECIALLY better than the last one (which I have a huge grudge against, thanx to the bleeding load times). I love the characters, mainly Ripper Roo, for he's so cool. Rock & roll to Naughty Dog ... ... ... ... (for dropping the series after it lost its flare!)
