The games all about monkeys! You have to control this boy namend Spike though 22 levels catching monkeys as you go though the levels. sometimes you have to deafeat a boss to win the level.

Summary:
Crazy, those Japanese! Then again, that's good, cause this manic and fun-filled game really spawns up entertainment. The graphics are nice for a Playstation, the controls can be hard at first but you get quickly used to them, and the sounds are... well, they're ok too. The plot is you've got to go through time and catch monkeys plotting to conquer the world with a net. Too simple, eh? No fear, it doesn't matter as the action compensates that!

Ape Escape for the Playstation is a very fun game. It has a lot of action, capturing monkeys and collecting coins and medallions. Ape Escape is a game that will keep you playing for a long time with amazing and adventurous levels. You as a young boy named Spike have to go back in time and fight off an evil monkey named Spector who wants to take over the world with his large army of monkeys. This game starts off in the prehistoric age and ends up in a furturistic world. Well I won't tell you more than that for anyone who hasn't played it yet. All I have to say is that this game is overall an average, but fun game.

Ape Escape is one of your average greatest hits. The game is cool. You go around, level to level, finding monkeys to capture, and getting new weapons is pretty tight to. The voice acting is pretty good and the storyline is average
