Summary:
In all this was a very good game. It is actually addictive. There are problems for those of us who played on the psx one system. Aside from the glitches and some times mind boggling warping back and forth it is still one of the best adventure games we have played. It is a must for those who enjoy adventures and hard to beat games.

Price Paid:  $15.00 from Game

Summary:
Actually, I played this version for 40 hours, whilst I played all versions for over 150 hours.
Right now, this game rocks. BUT, poor old PlayStation simply doesn't have the hardware to realise the full potential of this amazing engine. Whilst the N64, Dreamcast and PC (only with a joy pad) versions are among the best games of all time, this one, unfortunately, isn't.
Everything that made this game great- the graphics, lighting, animations, glitch-less gameplay, realistic areas, above-average AI, and strangely georgously evil atmosphere- is all toned down in this version. But, to be fair, the music (mostly) and voice-acting is as superb as the other versions. But the faults...

Summary:
About a guy whos family gets killed and goes to deadside(hell) to seek revenge on the serial killer who killed his family. If you love scary games get this game, I only once dared to play this game by my self in the dark at night. It scared me bad and I had to turn the lights back on and chill out the most evil and freaky game. If you like scary get this.

, from Zurich

Summary:
Difficult to critisize! Some parts are just amazing, others are question marks. The story is very interesting, very macabre and filled with woodoo magic. As you change from Life-side to the world of the dead, the weapons also change. That is cool but also funny: imagine soul-shooting guns that kill people that are already dead (you're in the afterlife, remember). So I had some few problems with that kind of afterlife visions. They could have called it energy guns (maybe less futuristic) but not something that is shooting souls... Souls are what you must collect, especially dark (or black) souls, souls are what is wandering around in the land of the dead, so what's about that soul-gun-crap?? Treat it a bit cartoonish and don't ask too much questions.

Nevertheless: I had hours of fun, had lived through many shocking moments and got really scared now and then. I liked it (!), but got stuck on a place I couldn't handle even with the walkthrough. This place should offer what I need to go on with the game. But after having wasted too much time (hours ONLY for that damned difficult jump!) I had to put it away. Maybe I'll retry it when somebody can give me a cheat or something like that.

Summary:
Shadowman is a very cool game and it has a strong
if not a bit hard to follow storyline to it.
the weapons are cool and this game has a dark
atmosphere to it.Your character sticks to corners
and walls too often and that is annoying.Anyway
i love this game and it took me a good chunk
of time to beat it.
