Price Paid:  $38.00 from Agetec, Inc online

Summary:
I loved this game. A lot of people don't love it, but don't listen to them. It's a really great game (with the exception of the early 1999 graphics). I loved the script, the witty comments, the gameplay, and overall, I loved Bates. If you don't love Bates, you've got some serious head problems. He was, in my opinion, the best part of the game. I liked it how he didn't just run away like Alyssa, but he stuck up to those damn zombies.

Summary:
This game is a worthy sequel to the original! I was so psyched when I first played it, and the truth is, I played this one BEFORE the first! This is the game that had drawn me into a world of fear! A world I now truly enjoy!

Man oh man and do I mean man! At first I didn't want to buy this game because I heard people say it sucked, but after I heard about Bates and that not everyone tought it was stupid I began getting intersted and orderd it over the internet. I didn't regrat it, Bates was cool and so was his voice and the beginnig got me scared all right. I didn't really like the 3hrd chapter too much but it wasn't THAT bad (to me)

Review NaN of 9
, from Maine

Price Paid:  $30.00 from Rented over and over

Summary:
Let me get one thing straight: as a girl, I'm about as tough as they come. Resident Evil made me yawn. Parasite Eve made me laugh. I hold almost every fighting game title in the state. And when I saw this game on the shelf one day I said "Heck, let's giver her a go". But what happened surprised me: not only did this game really scare me, but I had nightmares for weeks! The traps hidden in normal objects, random screams and noises, and enemies popping up out of nowhere. That kid still gives me the creeps! And I was also enveloped by the story. Sure, a few characters had something lacking. What was the deal with Shannon? Where the hell did Maxwell come from? And why did Kathryn suddenly sound like she is from Queens when she is locked in the closet? But I found it pretty cool that one second you are having a friendly little conversation with Phillip and then BANG! He's strangling you! The only problem I have with this is 13 endings and about 10 of them are of Alyssa dying.
