Summary: This is byfar one of the most outstanding games ever created for PS. When I was five years old, I would watch my dad and uncle play it, but now I'm 12 and I've beat it twice now. I know some of you have probably beat it 20 times or somethin. Anyway, to get to the point. This game has a fantastic storyline. The T-virus and all of that. The whole game is great and suspensful. You can battle it out with zombies, dogs, GIGANTIC spiders, sharks, A giant PLANT, hunters,Chimeras, and of course THE TYRANT. The world's greatest biological weapon. I'm trying to beat Code: Veronica, and Survivor. I've beat the others.
Summary: this game is a game that makes you proud to own a playstation. this game will scare the crap out of you at times, and then make you laught(barry burton as comic relief). the story is about a special forces team sent to resuce there teammates when there helichopter crashes in raccoon forest. then everything goes horribly wrong. i won't spoiler the rest of it for you but i will say that you go hide in a deserted mansion and hafta fight zombies and other demon creatures.
Summary: This Is The Game That Started It All Resident Evil Is A Great Game You Have To Complete The Objectives In Order To Beat The Game The Objectives Are As Follows:Find Bravo Team Figure Out Mystery To Murders And Survive The Game Takes Place 2 Months Before RE 2 And You Get To Choose From Two People Chris Redfield And Jill Valentine.
Summary: The Resiident Evil series is a very popular series and before I palyed this game I did not know why. At first I thought it was just an overrated game but after playing this I know that is really is a cool game. Gameplay Well the gameplay itself is very but the controls are pathetic. In order to turn goodhave to hit the what you want and then up and that allows zombies to get so that is lame. Another problem is that it can be beat in like 5 or 6 hours but other then taht it is still fun. Graphics Well for its time they are good and that is what I am marking it for here. Sure compared the new games this has awful graphics for its time they were pretty good. Sound The sound is very good. The zombies make cool noises and sometimes it plays some scary music. Good points Gameplay Fun Sound

Bottom line This game is by no means the best survival horror game ( Silent hill 2 is a lot better) but it is still a fun game though.

Resident Evil Directors Cut is a great game and is the definition of a "CLASSIC" It's an old game but will never at all die, plus it was the first of a great new genre, "Action/Adventure", which is arguably the best genre.
GRAPHICS-5 Even though Resident Evil has horrible graphics it was made in "96" having good graphics for the time, but i am writing this in "02" so thats not an excuse so i gave it a 5. They weren't very good but they didn't ruin the game.
GAMEPLAY/CONTROL-7 Resident Evil has fairly easy controls that don't take much time to get used to. But sometimes the movement is slow or choppy and it can be hard at times to move.
Sound-7 Resident Evil doesn't have great voice-acting, but it has that great music that lets u know somethings about to go down, plus the moans of the zombies fits very well in with the music.
Replay Value-9 It doesn't matter if you beat the game already, this game is so fun to begin with, of course you won't get stumped on puzzles and no more of that wheres the key to this door, but blasting zombies heads of doesn't get boring, well it can, and Resident evil 3 proves that, but this game has a great replay value.
Challenge-6 Ok you can easily beat this in one day, but some of the puzzles will keep you playin for an extra hour or two, this game has some hard points, but its fairly easy.
Gore-ENOUGH I know the game was made to be gorey and scarey but with the technology now, theres not much gore in Resident Evil Directors Cut, but theres enough
Overall-8 Resident evil is a great game that will give u hours of fun, as long as you r an action/adventure fan.
