Summary: Ok i shall tell you a little about Fear Effect: Retro Felix, oops Retro Helix =) hehe. A average game that contains to much action in my opinion. That's the only bad with the game i think, oh the graphics are not so good but everything else. There is some puzzles in the game to those are fun sometimes really fun. And there is bosses to they are just like the puzzles! But theres a very little fantasy on the bosses if i don't remember wrong you just go in and shoot the boss!?! NO, NO NO i'm wrong! You had to list out what you shall do on the first boss. No i remember a bit here! Hehe that boss was fun!
The story line is good i think. 2 of the characters you plays are a little bit "whores" hehe =). You play 4 characters if i remember right!?! 2 girls 2 guys. The girls have less of action and a little bit more of puzzles the guys only have much, much action! There is much more fun to play the girls in my opinion, cause i prefare puzzles much more than action! Another thing that it's much of is WEAPONS and of course much enemies. Some cool weapons but many should not be there! And the enemies can be hard but they can be very easy too! That depends on which character you are. But fear effect is a avergaga game. Not bad and not very good!
Summary: The odds are rare that a woman would actually like this game. I just don't see it happening. But you never know. So if you're a woman, don't count on linking it. But if you're a male like I am, this game is superb.
Yesterday, I had the chance of either purchasing Fear Effect 2 or Gran Turismo 3.
Naturally, I bought this.
I admit, I bought this game because Rain and Hana are lesbians, and they're both very hot!! That's the only reason. But after I dug under the surface of this game, I found it actually has some sort of plot!! And the voice acting is very good, graphics excellent and the sounds and controls very good.
I don't recommend this game to kids. It contains bad language, sexual themes, gore, dismemberment, blood, gunplay, cleavage, and a whole lot of other things. It actually feels like a movie!! The whole thing's in widescreen, which gives it a very cinematic theming. I enjoy this game becuase I like animes, and this is basically an anime. Very excellent game!!! ***But for mature audiences!!!***

Summary: I dont understand men. Well.. actually, I do. The only reason anyone's gonna get this game is because of the sapphic undertones. No one's getting this because of it's storyline or amazing gameplay. It's because Hana and Rain are lesbians and show lots of cleavage. While it's nice to see sexuality more, um, overtly presented in videogames (it took 8 final fantasies until characters were able to kiss), I would have like to have seen it done in a less exploitive manner. The reason for making Hana and Rain lesbians wasn't so they could display gays in a positive light - it was to entice men. The reason they keep sticking their asses in the screen? Entice men. The "I like it when you're bossy" line? Entice men. It's a shame that women are only represented as sex-kitten play objects in video games. Let's have some more REAL looking women on our consoles! None of this Lara Croft crap. But on to the actual game itself - gameplay is tight. Not perfect, though. Some nice adventure and action elements. Like the first one, there are lots of 'death' incidents. LOTS AND LOTS. Some of the puzzles were interesting - like when you're presented with two 'Rains' and you have to shoot one of them. Shoot the fake Rain, you get a good ending. Shoot the real Rain, you get the bad ending. Graphics have a nice visual flare. The sound, while not great, does the job. I suggest you get this game - if you're a straight male.
Summary: I never played the first FE and I was willign to play the second one. I was surprised about the storyline (even though I'm stuck in Xi' an with Decourt at this point...), the graphics, the sound, and the gameplay. It's certainly one of the ebst games I've played. And this game truly "earned" and deserves this M rating. Ignore the shooting part- there's liek a sexual scene every end of the disc or one of the mian character's asses sticking in front of your TV screen!
Summary: Being new to the fear affect series or any game of it's style, i was'nt expecting to much as i'm more of an shoot'em up gamer (puzzle's waist killin time)However i was plesantly surprised by game as a whole with it's fantastic story line,it's twist's and turn's through out the plot and it's intresting charictor's and depth, you'll soon find you self engrosed in the game and becom totaly oblivious to what's going on around u. In short it's well worht the purchase and i recomend it to every one who like's or dislike's the stragy style game play.
