Summary:
I loved this game. It's fun, dangerous, magical, and full of wizardry. You can even trade Fred and George Bertie Bott Every Flavored Beans for all kinds of Wizard stuff! Even though the game is so hard, I didn't give up.My favorite section of the game is chess. My worst part of the game is sneaking past Filch and his cat with the invisibility cloak. But overall...overall the game is pretty good.Okay, actually, it's wonderful!

Summary:
Overall I thought this game looked pretty bad. When I played it I discovered it was really bad. EA games should be ashamed. I know it was made for a young audience but to like this you would have to have been born yesterday.

Summary:
I first got this game as a gift, from one of my Aunt's, my other Aunt gave me Syphon Filter 2. Due to the fact that I was hooked on all of the Harry Potter books, and the first movie (which i give 5 stars), I thought that maybe the J.K. Rowling series could top it off and make a great video game, something that they hadn't done yet. I must say that they did a really good job, I'm glad that they didn't wait for the Ps2 or G-cube, or Xbox, becuase this game really brought out the best in the PSX. Warner Bros. really used all the technology on the Playstation to make this games graphics unique. The game sounds just like the movie, which is a good thing. WB really took a good thing and made it better, this game is one of the smartest things that the WB has ever done.

But, I do not think that Harry Potter:The Sorcerer's Stone for the Playstation, will get as much credit as it deserves. People who hate the series, definatly won't go for the game. But, in my opinion, if you love HP, or you hate him, you can still enjoy this game. If WB, just decided to change the names, and character designs, and act like this game was not Harry Potter, it could acheive goals like becoming the PSX unofficial mascot. I'm serious!

This game really combines the book, and the movie, in one neat package for loads of fun. You can go to all the classes, even the ones that were not included in the movie. You'll have time tests, puzzels, Quidditch matches (like Soccer on broomsticks), and a whole lot of roaming and good deads to fufill. Alongside with a great storyline, and tons of adventures.

The graphics for HP: SS, are spectacular. Too good for the PSX, the graphic models look similar to those in the movie, the special effects are some of the best that the PSX has ever given to its hungry gamers. Also, the mouths (although not that well), move with the talking person.

The sound is great. Most (not all) of the voices from the movie have been put in this game. You can hear Harry's footstep's as he stroles around the castle or outside, looking for trouble. The sound contributes greatly to the special effects, which are amazing.

The gameplay is smooth. You'll find that you can go just about anywhere in Harry Potter: The Sorcerers Stone. I think that the gameplay is some of the best that the PSX has ever delivered. The replay value for this game is extremely high, due to the complexity, longness, and fun of the game.

Added bonuses to the game, like being able to play a Quidditch match anytime you want at the title screen, only make this game more enjoyable than it already is. I also have this game on the Game Boy Advance, but the PSX version is so much more life like, and gives so much more to Harry Potter fans around the world. If you want a good adventure game, this is definatly the game for you.

The only flaw with HP:SS, is that there is a glitch in the story mode, where, when you are at Gringotts bank, the game sends a loading message, and the disc just stops spinning, but then again, my PSX is 6 years old, and that stuff has happened to me before. But, even if there is a real glitch, it is only because this game is way too good for the Playstation, So, if you don't have this game, go out and buy it! And if you do have it, go and play it!

If you are a fan, or not a fan, you will still be able to appreciate the game, and enjoy it. All in all, this is probably (next to Crash Bandicoot 2) the absolute best game on the Playstation. I mean, where can you get a game on a 32 bit console, that gives you great graphics, gameplay, sound, storyline, amd fun, in one package?

Summary:
Harry Potter was a great book and a great movie. The game isn't exactly great but it's something. It can be really frustrating tyring to win those annoying mini-games. The broom stick challenges are fun. I only played the first broom stick challenge because after that, eveything else was too frustrating and hard so I couldn't make it to the other broom stick challenges. I enjoyed the game though. I had great fun fighting Draco Malfoy. The graphics are the game's worst downfalls. Harry Potter for the PC has better graphics. The sound was the best. Cool special effects and music. And all the character's voices are cool too.
Overall, Harry Potter falls in the "Not Bad But Not Good" category.
