Summary:
I love Croc 2. Although I never experienced playing on Croc 1, I know it was cool. It had to be. I love Croc 2. I've only got it for computer, but it's GREAT! The only problem, I don't know how to get all four jigsaw's. Please help on that bit!

, from Moria, Beneath the misty mountains

Price Paid:  $67.00 from Watto's junkyard

Summary:
Being a person who started off playing video games with the PS2 and having never played a PS1 game before(with the exception of Naughty Dog's Crash Bandicoot 2,3 and 4), I must admit that I was shocked when I laid eyes on the simplicity and graphical etchiness of my first bought PS1 game(for the PS2 ofcourse). Which game was this? Croc 2!!! I soon got over it and when I did, I found out just how good it really was. I had never heard of Croc 1, the story of which I now know is astonishingly straightforward: A baby Crocodile, seperated from his parents, is adopted by fuzzy, chirpy-voiced, possibly mentally-deranged Gobbo creatures whose island paradise is threatened by Baron Dante and his evil Dantini monsters. Gobbos in danger must be saved by a now fully-grown Croc... Blah, blah, blah! Pretty basic stuff. Well, in Croc 2 it seems that the reptillian Baron has returned from the dead after some sort of ritual(not a scary one)and is abroad once more to satisfy his cravings for what seem like the only things he likes: caged gobbos. Croc, aided by Swap Meet Pete the fat feline, undertakes a quest to look for a mysterious Proffessor Gobbo stationed on an Inca Gobbo Island who may help him defeat Dante and uncover the secrets about his long lost parents... For the story, I'd say 3/10 but for the overall game as far as the PS1 goes I'd give a generous 9/10.

Summary:
Without doubt this game was designed for a pre-adolescent demographic. Potential challenges have been over simplified, and both sound tracks and FX are exceptionally irritating.

Summary:
I never played the original Croc, so I truly did not know what to expect. I borrowed it from a friend, so even if it was terrible, I wouldn't care; but it wasn't.
