Summary:
Electronic Arts must have gotten arrest for DUI after they pushed this pile of junk onto the unsuspecting public... because they certainly were drunk when they programmed this game. I just don't get it. NFS1, 3: Hot Pursuit, 4: High Stakes, 5: Porsche Unleashed, and Hot Pursuit 2 (PS2) are ALL awesome. So, what on Earth happened with 2? It had to be a drug-induced stupor, that's all I can theorize.
