Summary:
Overall the game was great i loved the game it had a great storyline the graphics were improved but not as rich as the previous one. I think it was a little short. I dont really like these games charecters cept for Ryu. I liked the dragon summoning, but i hate how u dont get as much draggon forms and they all look the same. But I liked this game anyway it burned alot of my time and it kept me hooked. If u like RPGs youll like this game trust me.

Summary:
I was on a quest to complete all 4 BoFs before the release of BoF 5 Dragon Quarter. I don't think I'm gonna make it, as I have yet to even play 3. Not that it matters. The BoF sequels were never true sequels with connecting stories. They only contain recurring characters and places, like Ryu, Nina from Wyndia, and a few others. It's a solid game, that does many things well, but it's not exceptional.

This time around, the story is very heavy with political intrigue. It's well written and easy to follow. It seems a bit out of place with the very Japanese gameplay, but it works.

Summary:
I think this game was the best out of the 3 BOF that ive played. Even though the game lack of dragon genes, it made up for the graphics and the great story line, which maked it very interesting.

Summary:
BOF4 in general is a fantastic acomplishment containing new AND old RPG formats. In summary the story may bit be a bit confusing for those first getting into it and for those who have been advancing through the series even just a slight confusing. First downfall is Ryu dosen't know pretty much anyone ( just like in BOF 3 )
but the cool offset is when Ryu ( again ) Meets Mojo for the first time she comments on whether they have met before so the format is essentially the same only extended. On the up side the mini-tasks and fishing episodes are greatly enhanced really adding something cool!
All in all as this game has advanced, for anyone interested in getting into the realm of RPG this is definitly a game to become seasoned in!!!

Summary:
Overall, this game is well worth anyone's time.
If your like me and you love the Breath of Fire
series you'll understand what I'm talking about.
This game has everything you want in an Rpg.
The graphics are great for the PS1. The music and scene in the beginning is what really caught
my attention. Fou-lu is cool though I wish that
he and Ryu would've met sooner. But that's okay.
I urge anyone who's thinking about buying it to.
