Summary: I must say, this is a great final fantasy. It is different from others, but it is still good. First off, it is a nice love story.(FF9 and 10 are better love stories) Squall, somehow falls in love with Rinoa, who I do not like all that much, and these 2 go out to slaughter bad guys. Also with them, are Quistis, a fine, good-looking Blue mage, Irvine, a sharp shooter, Zell, a cool fighter, and Selphie, the best girl in the game with a happy go lucky personality. Good game however.
Summary: After playing the game to death i have come to the conclusion that this final fantasy has to be one of the best in the saga, although many reviews from magazines and websites that this game is not even in the same league as ff7 i believe that this game surpases it, i think this because, the magic system in this game is on the right path because you have to draw magic from enemys, this in turn encourages players to fight and make your team the ultimate force, this is also good because you must drwa gf's from enemy's and if you were to miss the opportunity then thats it, gone, ff7 did not have this, also the junction magic system was a first in this saga and this was like a cheat to make your team better than what they should be. also it is a landmark in graphics, i say this because think of other games that were relesed at this time, the graphics they had were no match to ff8, this game offerd supreme graphics a awsome story and a unforgetable soundtrack, a true must have if you like rpg's.
Summary: By far one of the best games for the Playstation. For its time, it was the leader in graphics, as it was far ahead of other games. I still remember when I first turned it on how amazed I was with the opening sequence, it had me drooling to see more. I personally think this game was top of the line in every aspect, but of course there are those out there who will always find something wrong with a flawless game. I'm not one of them tho :-)
Summary: So I 've played this game for too long now, but still i am as impressed with the game now as i ever have been! I am yet to find a better game on the ps1, its not just the best ff game ever, its THE BEST GAME EVER. But this is only my opinion of course...
Summary: Final Fantasy 8... what a major dissapointment. After I played FF7, i thought this game would take some of the few weaknesses of ff7 and transform it into the best rpg game ever. The truth is, the characters are ordinary, plot? BORING. The only thing that kept me playing was Zell. The only character with a little thought put into it. Squall? Qweer. Rinoa? Ugly and too agressive for my taste. Quistis? Boring when she came on screen. And who could forget that faggot sharp shooter. I didnt even care about his name, or the game for that matter. What a major dissapointment. Did the game ever pick up? Get better? NOOOOOO. Somehow Squall and Rinoa fall in love. Its bullshlt. The Game rushes to conclusion, boring, and not suspensful what so ever. The Game was over long before ended.
