Summary:
Well What Can I say expet WOW! This game was like no other it was amazeing I remend it to a friend and he bought and loved it. Its like Zelda but just as good it like the playstaion haveing t own Zelda move over Final Fansty. The story is Sad deep and quit moveing in parts the title says The Adventures Aludra witch is true becasue the game is not based in one day its based on many days you meet diffrent ppl it has some twists to it as well but be warned this not a game that can be commplet in a night the puzzles are real head scratcher but you know if you have guid you can get them off the net or buy them from shops it not so bad as I said before its the story that makes this game trust me you will not be disspointed.

Price Paid:  $1.00 from Ebay

Summary:
Yea I got this game on Ebay for 1$ US plus the shipping. It was an odd auction. Alundra in my opinion is an extremely hard RPG that is very fun and challenging, The story line is deep, and it didn't always turn out happy, 10 villagers died in the game, about that. It is not predictable at all. It is a very unique game that blows away Zelda 1 and 2 on Nes or SNES. Though you can't really compare the two. I think alundra is much better.

Summary:
Alundra is, in my opinion, an amazing game. Good story, fun gameplay, very challenging puzzles, and surprising depth. It's the kind of game that reminds me of what a *good* action rpg is supposed to be like.
The two games it seems to be compared to are Zelda for the SNES and Landstalker. Having seen the former, I admit that the gameplay does have it's similarities. One thing that sets Alundra and Zelda apart, though, is the depth of Alundra's storyline.
The story really did have me spellbound. Not so much the basic summary- evil demon wants to corrupt people through dreams, dream-traveling hero must defeat him, yadda yadda yadda- but rather, the way the events in the game played out. Learning about the idol in the church, seeing Sybill's visions, watching characters in the town get murdered- it all added up to a complex and intriguing theme. The story of Alundra is a bit dark, as more than a few major townsfolk die, but it's still enjoyable, if not even more so because of this. I became attatched to some of the characters you met as the game progressed. Because I enjoyed talking to the characters, though, I was rather annoyed that you couldn't talk to them *at all* during the final dungeon part because they were praying for you in the stupid boarded-up church.

Summary:
This has to be my favorite game for the psx. It was nice to see a 2d layout again, and the art in the game is beautiful, and not only in the game, but in the anime scenes as well. If only the sequel to this game was nearly as good.
