Summary:
This is the most EXCITING fishing game I've ever played! It's so realistic and what a challenge! 70 different species of fish to catch at over 20 different fishing holes. Many different rods, reels, floats, and bit to choose from. Different rods/bait brings in different fish in different months. You follow a complete fishing season month by month and can catch only what's running that month. Fish weighing from 2 pounds to 1,000 pounds. You must catch each different species of fish per stage to move onto the next. Most stages have 4-5+ different species to catch. Most fun if played with the fishing controller (you can purchase the fishing rod with Reel Fishing 1 as a package deal off ebay's half.com - the only place I've seen it). With the fishing rod, you feel when you set the hook, you feel the vibration of the fish running and playing you, reeling the fish in. The harder and louder the vibration on the fishing rod, the larger the fish. Being able to keep your fish and feed them and watch them grow is fantastic. GREAT FUN!! Can't wait until March 2002 when the new fishing game comes out for Playstation (I called Natsume and they said in March new game comes out).

Summary:
With over 70 different fish to fish for, and 500 different types of bait to help, this game definatley takes the cake for fishing games on the Playstation and Nintendo64. Of course, there is freshwater fishing for catfish, trout, Pike, and other fish, but then there is an option rarely seen on any game....saltwater fishing!! Thats right, fish for the vicious Barracuda, majestic sailfish and even the monsters of the deep, Sharks. On top of these, there are many more, half of which you probably have either never heard of, or never seen.
You are probably saying,"yeah, great fish, but graphics make the game buddy." Well, guess what, Reel Fishing 2 has the best graphics for a fishing game out right now!! I can actually tell the difference between a Musky and a Pike it is so good(they look very similar. Not only this, but I can sometimes tell what fish is laying in wait on the bottom just by its body size, shape and pattern. So, all in all,if you want a fishing game, go with Reel Fishing
