Summary:
THE TRUE REVIEW TO MAT HOFFMANS PRO BMX I BASE MY SCORES ON A 1-10 SCALE I BASE RECOMMENDING ON BUY IT, RENT IT, OR FORGET IT

This game was ok. Simple as that...ok. I do believe its different than tony hawk, but definatley NOT better! The levels were smaller and the goals were pathetic. There wasnt a good choice of move and the movement was too slow. And i know im making a lot of complaints but the game had some nice touches to it to. There was good music, pretty good graphics, but i do believe Dave Mirra is a better buy.

Graphics-8.5
There were very good graphics for a PS1. The characters were pretty cool, especially granny. That was the best idea in the whole game.

Gameplay/Control-4.5
This is the part of the game that killed it. Every one of my complaints is about the gameplay.
Even though some of the tricks were cool, the gameplay was slow and constantly delayed, there wernt enough special tricks, and not enough ramps. I'll just stop now because you get the point.

Sound-10
GREAT MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!!

Fun Factor/Replay Value-6.5
There is almost no replay value but the game is fun.

Challenge-5
This game was easy just like all of the tony hawks!

GOOD POINTS
-Music was great
-Granny was cool

BAD POINTS
-Not enough special tricks
-Gameplay too slow

Overall-6.5
Its ok but not a worthy competitor to tony hawk.

Recommend-RENT IT, its not that bad, but not that good either.

Price Paid:  $40.00 from k-mart

Summary:
this game is not a tony hawks 2 beater but it does the job this will also keep you entertained for months just like the hawkers but it wont last if you cheat like in th2 thats what activision designed the game for if you cheat it gets boring.
But anyway this game i would go out and buy straitaway also its good when you have friends around there is like in th2 trick attack horse and grafiti and it also has a park desinger like the birdman had it also has about 8 pros to choose from including: mat hoffman, mike escamilla, cory nastazio, joe(butcher)kowalski, rick thorne, dennis mccoy, kevin robinson and simon tabron+ 2 secret characters to unlock including tony hawk and granny( note granny is a cheat so you have to find it at cheat sites) but i would reccomend this game to bmx fans and all rounders and sports fans.

Summary:
Hmm, what can I say? Tony Hawk on Bikes? No.
Tony Clone? No. Annoying? Maybe. Garbage? YUP!
I am SO dissapointed. I thought that MHPBMX was gonna be the sweetest BMX game this side of TJ Lavins and Dave Mirra. But I was wrong.
When I played the demo on THPS2, I was excited to say the least. It played beautifully. Then, for once in my life I decided to rent a game BEFORE I bought it, so I did. And I was so angry at what was in the game. As I am sure everyone knows, this game went through 3 developers before hitting our consoles, which is undoubtedly the reason for its crappiness. The demo was from Runcraft and Neversoft. The final project was from Shaba, the makers of Grind Session. Now, GS was a good clone, but obviously these guys have zero experience in bike physics. All in all, a bad game, and a BIG letdown for all the hype it accumulated in its many months of delays.

Summary:
A lot of people are calling this Tony Hawks Pro Skater with bikes. While that is somewhat true, it is still worthy competition to the birdman. The game has a whole new feeling. And starting out, the game can be somewhat difficult, but after a little practice, you might see why I think this is quite possibly the THPS killer. And I don't mean that in a bad way.
