Summary:
THE TRUE REVIEW TO TONY HAWKS PRO SKATER I BASE MY SCORES ON A 1-10 SCALE

Well, this game made history. It started it all, the Tony Hawk series. Many improvements have been made since this game but its a classic. The beginning of the best selling series other than Madden of all-time. This game had great everything, even though as i said many improvements have been made, its still great, its like resident evil directors cut, the start of it all. There are many cool tricks, and competitions, i had hours of fun with this great classic, except when i played it it was new, and there was nothing better. The grand-theft auto of skateboarding.

Graphics-7.5
They weren't bad at the time, but even then they wern't perfect. You could easily tell where they didn't spend too much time. They were good enough to have as much fun as you could possibly have and they didn't hurt the game at all. The blood was something that was never seen in a sports related game too.

Gameplay/Control-9.5
Perfect, very very creative. From everything from the cars to the competitions, the blood to the objectives. Who ever heard of completing objectives while playing a sports-related game, maybe thats where madden challenge came from. There were very few flaws in this game. I couldn't give gameplay a ten because there were a lot of noticalble glitches, such as getting stuck in the middle of nowhere. But it didn't matter, everything was made up for, with the moves, and specials, and all the players to choose from. There were also very nice and easy controls.

Sound-10
The great music from and sounds were perfect to fit the mood, plus the cars, and the beeping at the last ten seconds fit right in with the music.

Fun Factor-10
How could someone not love this game. Theres nothing wrong with it. Im not a skateboarding, or X-games fan. Just a kid who plays basketball and a lot of videogames, and this was one of the best I've ever played.

Replay Value-9
The replay value is also great, try to beat it with every player. You WILL want to keep playing it after you beat it once. I can promise you that.

Challenge-3
This is the biggest problem in all the Tony Hawks. It can easily be beaten in an hour or two. The reason is the objectives are repetitive, so if you do them once in one level, the next level should be a piece of cake.

Good Points
Easy, basic controls
Competitions
Blood in a sports game? How cool is that

Bad Points
Too short
Objectives do get repetitive
Too many glitches

Overall-9.5
A great game. Fun for everyone for as long as you want. If you're a good gamer, and you're looking for a challenge, this ISN'T a game for you.

Recommend-I recommend this to anyone who likes good games.

Summary:
First of all let me just say that I am very dissapointed with the game. I recently purchased this product and found that it doesn't even come close to any 'decent' game on the market. With this product I purchased Zone of the Enders and even with it's 2 hour completion time it way outweight's this game. I am dissapointed and will never buy any 'Tony Hawk's' games again.

Summary:
>>> REVIEW TITLE: Do a jump! Grind the rail! Spin it out!

WHAT'S EXCELLENT: Well, it's two years old, and it is still a great game, even though it is the first time I played Tony Hawk to date. And, it's only 20 bucks today!

WHAT BURNS ME OUT: O.K. I dare you to find any bad things about this game. Har har har...

MAIN REVIEW: O.K. So, I waited for a couple of years before I get this game. I never did some real skating in my life before. When Tony Hawk's Pro Skater came out, the review in Game Informer was a 9.5. I was thinking, Hmmmm... Should I really try a skate boarding title? Well, I am not fond with skating. A year later, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 came out. Game Informer scored it a perfect 10. I was thinking, Am I a coward? May be I may be missing out on all the great gameplay. I was a coward. I just backed away from the game...

As time went by, I was thinking, Maybe I SHOULD try this game. I ain't no skateboarding freak-o, but well I still I should give it a try.

So, Today I bought the game.

I pluged it in to my Playstation console and fired the thing up. I took the instructions out of the CD case and studing it as I play. It took some time learning how to play the game. Once I knew how I played the game, it became fun! Very fun! Smash your skate on the ground! Grind the skateboard on the edge! Ride the rails with your stakeboard! Do a flipping jump! Yea, you can't go wrong with this! You can purposly do failed tricks, record it on Replay, and it is like watching Tom and Jerry, when you play it back! Ohhh, I can make a replay thing and... I can't believe I laughed at these silly failed trick that I made! Hmmm I can do this all day! A great addition, if you want to get a break from the main game. Yea, Take a break and make your self a funny senario replay tape, and you will be hooked! You can even make your friends laugh at it!

Anyway, Who says old games die? It's two years old now since the game was released, but it is still quite good. Hmmmm. I am surprised that my brother never pointed the game out to me to convince me to buy it. However, during the last few months I convinced myself to buy this game. I did buy this game in the bargin bin at about half the price it did when it first came out two years ago, but it did not seem to lose any value, since I have never played a skateboarding game in years...

Well, This game is a must have. If you want to buy Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2 for your PS2, then still, get this title! Even though you allready have Tony Hawk 2, then you should still get this title, whether or not you are a skate boarding freak! It will take some learning curve, but it's a fun deal! At twenty dollars, there is just no excuse to get it, even though you are low in cash.

>>> KANO'S REVIEW <<<

Overall: 5/5
Gameplay: 5/5
Graphics: 5/5
Sound FX: 5/5

Hey This game's great! With so much moves, so much things to do, excellent controls, perfect graphics (People kept telling me that graphics are a little pixelated, but they don't know that it is an older game for the Playstation), rocking sounds, and nice music. Even though you allready have Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 or 3, you are low in cash, or you are not a skateboarding freak, there is still no excuse not to get this game. Sure, you have a 20 dollar bill around. So, if you have it, then buy it now!
