Price Paid:  $69.00 from i am so funny

Summary:
MTB is such an odd combo of sim and arcade elements, it may end up pleasing fans of neither. It's a shame, because the between fight strategy and newspaper headlines is a great idea. You can train your fighter (non interactive, you just slide bars back and forth and try to balance exercises and rest) and pick bouts from a range of challengers who are moving up and down the ranks just like you. It's very immersive, but non sim elements in the actual fighting part detract from any "you are there" feeling.
Gameplay: A weird combo of sim and arcade. The centerpiece "World" mode is so detailed you control how much your fighter eats and exercises, but there is no option to push the fight to more than 3 rounds, (probably to encourage you to play more in this mode). Also, the round is scored immediately, and only one judge scoring. Anyone who knows anything about boxing knows that this just isn't right. But I like the "wind up" punch system even though it takes some serious getting used to.

Graphics: Cuts don't develop and get worse, instead, how hard you hit or get hit depends on whether you see a spray of sweat or blood. Fight venues are well lit and characters are modeled well. One nice part is the heads turn independently, and when they seperate at the end of the bout, their heads turn as they watch each other walk to the neutral corners.

Sound: Some of the worst quality opening music ever. Maybe it's an inside joke from the guys who brought us the "MTV Music Generator" or maybe they wanted music the was as bad as Tyson. Menu music is also boring techno. The ring announcer gives your fight record before the bout, but there's no commentary at all during the fight, which may not be such a bad thing. Crowd noise is adequate, and ringside comments seem to be limited to one guy yelling "He's gotta go now!" at random.

Price Paid:  $50.00 from you, hahaha

Summary:
General/Summary: Overall the game is good, could have been better in terms of having live commentary during the actual boxing matches. Should have included some pre and post fight interviews from tyson and other fighters. Real boxing fans will miss these elements, but if you are just looking to fight this game is good.
Gameplay: Gameplay is cool, they give you a variety of angles to choose from when boxing, such as, overhead, side view etc.Have to practice in order to get the punches down pat and execute.

Graphics: The graphics are nice, especially the ring entrance of Mike Tyson. Characters could have been a little more smoother looking. The Rings and the crowd also puts you in a real life boxing atmosphere just like the real thing. However, to make the game more realistic they should have shown tyson coming from the dressing room with his entire posse that he normally comes to the ring with. They should have also included the white towel that tyson normally wears to the ring.

Sound: Sound during the introductions are good, however there is no commentary during the actual boxing matches which really suxs big time. If you are a real boxing fan you will miss hearing someone ring side calling all the shots that a fighter throws. All you hear is the crowd, what about the live commentary, big flaw. Live commentary would have made the matches more exciting

Price Paid:  $40.00 from A place where the cashier said "This is a great game".

Summary:
I would lide to start off by apologizing to my brother for even buying this game. He sent me to the store to buy Ready To Rumble Round 2 but they were sold out so I figured we really liked Punch Out so this game would be pretty good. Man was I WRONG!!
