, from Taunton, MASummary: THE TRUE REVIEW TO KNOCKOUT KINGS 2000 I BASE MY SCORES ON A 1-10 SCALE
I loved this game. I played this game for many hours in career and multiplayer mode and i had a lot of fun. There are a lot of cool moves, especially the illegal ones, where the refs will give you warnings, and you can get disquallified. At the time, this was the best boxing game available, and IMO it still is.
Graphics-8 For a PSX game they're not bad. The people look cool and so doesnt everything else, they're not choppy which is another cool thing about them.
Gameplay/Control-10 The controls are easy enough that you can play this game and have fun even if you've never played it, but there is enough moves to keep you entertained for a while. There is a good selection of fighters from all three divisions and some good classic fights too.
Sound-8 The music was good and wasn't repetitive.
Fun Factor-VERY HIGH Thats what makes the game so great, is that it is fun. There are a bunch of different moves and characters to fight.
Replay Value-HIGH After you've played it alot it is still fun to play it again, but if you get too good at it it might get boring.
Frustration Factor-SOME If you lose it might get frustrating
Challenge-8 It can be very tough on hard difficulty.
