This is the best baskettball game ever made (better the Nba Street, Nba inside drive, Nba 2001 on ps2) it is really realistic and other then playing 5 on 5 you can also play 1 on 1, 3 point shootout, playoffs, season, challenges, practice and you can even create your own players and teams!

Summary:
Nba Live 2001 is flat out the best basketball game eva. I imagine that for the ps2 it is only better. Players like Tom Gugliotta help make this game an extremely enjoyable expiereience. You can even raise the stats of extremely weak players like Jason Williams of the kings. Talk about depth. The game has a create player, good cotrols, and unlike its predescesors, easy game play. You can literally instantly become an expierenced player. I do however, wish that there was a franchise mode.

Summary:
I think it is a great game. The graphics are great and the dunks u can do are pretty cool. Some people complain " the crowds are not loud enough" who really gives a crap. If ur that serious about a game dont get one at all.
