Summary: Well I figured I'd go through all the games I got and start reviewing them, since I finally registered here. But what a bad place to start. This is just a game that's trying to cash in off the back of its cover. A racing/extreme sports game where you can punch people, sounds good in theory. Unfortunately, just because its a good idea doesn't mean its a good game. It's basically a racing/do a few tricks game where you can choose to ride a bike, roller blades, or a skateboard. But the game gets boring way too fast. The tricks are basically pointless, since if you do them, it makes it a lot harder to win the races. But if you just try to win the races, you'll get bored and frustrated with this game within the first 10 minutes.
The graphics aren't too bad for a PS1 game, but they aren't anything to brag about. They just don't hurt the game anymore. The music also isn't too bad, but again, these things mean nothing without gameplay. There isn't a great variety of tricks, and the ones they have aren't even that good. It almost feels like this game wasn't even finished, because there is no depth to this game what so ever. The only thing this game has going for it is multiplayer, while it isn't great, you might get a little fun out of playing a friend, especially with the fact you can punch people.
OVERALL: Could have been an ok game, but it was either rushed, or sent out too soon. Both ways, stay away from this game, although I'm sure you already have.

This is the most consistent series ever. The problem is that the series consistently gets worse as it goes on. This is the one of the worst games of all time. The graphics are horrible, you cant really control the character too well and there arent enough tricks. Even punching everyone gets boring after a while. Honestly stay away from this game, its horrible. I dont understand what Sony was thinking when they made this one. If this game was made for the NES it still would of been a bad game. Its just not fun to play AT ALL.
Graphics-2 The graphics were horrible! Everything was choppy, and the mountains, walls, and other barriers were pathetic. It was so bad that you could actually crash into a wall without touching it because bits and pieces of it are sticking out. I dont think any money was put into these graphics.
Gameplay/Control-4 The only reason i didnt give this a 1 was because of the punching thing. It wasnt too good, but it was the only ok thing in this whole game.
Sound-7 The best part of this game is the music. Its not great, but everything else in this game is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!
Fun Factor-1.5 There is no fun to be had with this game, except the multiplayer is ALMOST fun.
Replay Value-LOW, After you play this game for 5 minutes you wont play it anymore.
Frustration Factor-HIGH This game is so annoying, you gcan get stuck in a spot for like 5 or 6 and it makes you lose. This game also isn't any fun so its just more annoying.
Challenge-7 There are only 3 levels, but a few of them can be difficult.

Summary: This game is so not wanted that I bought it as a rental in a grocery store. I played it, then realized there was only three levels in the entire game! The only difference is one level is at dark, the other at dusk, then noon, then morning. You call those levels? I call it pure crap. And don't even think about tricks in this game. I'll tell you that you can't even do 5 tricks. They're the same exact thing. No combination moves either?!! What was 989 thinking when they released this to the public?! This game focuses on advertisements than game. When you play it all you see is ads. Buy Slim Jim! Try Sony! No thanks, I'll just play a game.

Summary: I've got three words for this game... it really sucks. There's no point to this game at all. You can pick from a biker, a skateboarder, or a blader. All of which go pretty much the same speed. And the tricks suck, the landings suck, the grinding sucks, you can't even do moves of grinds. And the controls aren't very good, punch turn jump. Oh yeah and when you're in the air if you want to get more than 1000 points for a move press evey button then try to land. Make sure you don't crash into gates or go through them because they won't help your score at all. And the graphics are horrible. 3extreme's graphics are a disgrace to playstation. An 9 year old kid could make a better game with better graphics. The sound was the only okay part. It was nothing to bragg about but compared to everything else it's the only thing to bragg about.
Summary: I don't think this game is so bad. It's pretty average but it definately doesn't worth a 1 star. it's not so good true, but it has a very cheap price, and it really reminds arcades. it's pretty fun to play multiplayer, but if you want "trickboarder style" you should buy Tony Hawk 2.
