Having seen the numerous praise and frenzy remarks of ISS Pro Evolution Soccer for the aging Playstation 1 in and out of the internet, I've decided to raid all gaming shops here in our country to search their old Playstation games. After hundreds of phones calls and inquiries, I was so fortunate to find one remaining copy at a nearby shop. I bought it for 50 Philippine Peso, that' equivalent to 1 US dollar.
After thousands of hours of gameplay, I can assure that ISS Pro Evolution is THE BEST FOOTBALL SIMULATION GAME EVER. I have a high-end PC in which FIFA World Cup 2002 and FIFA 2002 is installed still after playing ISS Pro Evo for PSX i've decided to uninstall the later EA Games and stick with ISS! Who needs real names and stunning graphics when my greatest dream of becoming a international soccer superstar is met thru playing ISS! It's the nearest thing to becoming one! The only advantage is that only your thumb get's to be injured! THE MOST REALISTIC PLAYS! PASSES! GOALS! PLAYER EMOTIONS! Score Sheet: ISS PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER - 99 | EA SPORTS FIFA - 0!

Summary:
When I first played Winning Eleven 5, the Japanese version of PE, I was amazed by the improvements over the original PS one outings.
When after a painfully long wait the PAL version finally hit Europe and I drove to the shop I felt like a 7 year old getting his first big fire truck, bells and sirenes included ! It was worth the long wait; it was even improved over the NTSC releases : e.g. scoring and crossing are much more difficult and therefore realistic.
Doesn' the fact that I still bother writing a review long after the release and many (believe me !) hours of play doens' t tell you anything ... !

this is the best game ever, not only in the footballing world. it is simply perfect! it whoops the fifa series ass. i have had the game for 2 years and i have played on it every day. i even took it on holiday with me!

Summary:
I can only describe how great this game is like this: I have played 40 consecutive Master Leagues over the last year. Lately I have been using Liverpool. They had won the last three leagues easily. But this season they had had a rough year and were trailing Munich all season. They made a comeback and on the last day of the season were two points off Munich who had 32 points to my 30. I had to beat Manchester Utd to have any chance. I fell behind early only for Rivaldo to equalise. It took until the 70th minute for the winner when Rivaldo again hammered home. I clung on to win and found Munich had only drawn with Inter. So by virtue of my 44 goals to their 22 I won. It might not seem like a big deal but it was so realistic I was sweating like a real seasons final day. And that Icould expeience this after so many previous leagues shows this games power. Nothing else has ever come close.

Just the best soccer game ever. Incredible videogame. You're not gonna leave it. I bought it a bit late, but I've been playing since then.
Much better than FIFA'S. Great graphics, great moves, and many, many ways of scoring diferent kinds of goals make this game awesome. Thanks to the creators for "Edit Mode". This game was done suitable for the soccer fanatics.
