Price Paid:  $50.00 from Wal Mart

Summary:
This was the first PS2 game I had ever played, so of course the graphics blew my mind. I was at my friends house and we played versus mode for a few hours. Just that alone made me think I was playing the best game ever made! A few hours playing one player mode and I was hooked! I began building up my AC and was absorbed into the game fully. It's a great game especially when you happen to like mech combat. But even if you don't you should give it a try. I think it was well worth the 50$ and now that you can find it in used game stores for a very low price of $18, I would get it in a heart beat!

Price Paid:  $20.00 from Circuit City

Summary:
I'm a Hardcore fan of Armored Core series. I mean I bought and played all of PSX versions. The game is still relativily the same, I mean that in a good way. I'm glad that folks at AgeTech didn't do any screwing around to change too many stuff 'cause I would hate to relearn everything in AC. But if you're new comers to this game, this game may appeal difficult and frusterating. Heck, I had trouble advancing thru the game. But if you stick with it and have the patience, this game may become your new best Friend.

Summary:
There is really nothing great about this game at all. The most important aspect of a game is playability. This game requires too much time to learn an outdated control scheme. The analog control is the best way to control a FPS(first person shooter). This is a shooter.

Price Paid:  $35.00 from Funco Land

Summary:
Whether you're a mech combat fan or not, you have GOT to get this game! AC2 is one of the best PS2 titles made to date, for about three million little reasons. Some people found little things about the game that bothered them, but for the most part, I found, they tended to be based more on personal preference, other than maybe the missle/slowdown thing. The lack of analog control really isn't much of an issue, I don't like the joystick too much anyway. Turning speed was an issue too...but first off, how fast do you expect a core with multiple tons of steel up top to turn anyway? Besides, that's why you cirlce-strafe and boost, not just sit still and turn. Moving on...
