Review NaN of 4
, from Phila. Pa

Price Paid:  $50.00 from EB Games

Summary:
Can you say Dreamcast? Sure, I knew that you could. The HUD is exactly the same as the hud in Aerowings 1, and except for the popups the ground graphics were better in the FIRST Aerowings offering! Aero Elite is a BUMMER!
Completely unacceptable. I love the flying games. I went out and purchased every and all flying title's available on any console (even 3DO, believe that!)
The boreing ground environments are so drab, there's nothing to do in free flight!
At least in the Dreamcast games you could shoot stuff, not in this game.....what's the deal with that?
The game does have cool camera options, I'll give it that.

, from Houston, TX

Price Paid:  $49.00 from Game Stop

Summary:
I found the game a disappointment compared to Ace Combat 4. I enjoy flight simulators to a point, but I do not have the time, nor the desire to master the more complex aspects of flight. The game expects you to complete "flight school", to gain aircraft. I do have a military back ground and have worked with F-16 falcons. I find the controls to be sluggish. Stalls are all to common and the performance of these aircraft are not realistic. If the true aircraft performed so poorly, we in the USA would be screwed.

I was very excited about this game, but now find myself disappointed. May be for the "flight simulator purist, this is great, but I will await the next Ace Combat to be satisfied. Ace Combat may not be as flight simulator oriented, but I think it is alot more enjoyeable to play.

Also what the hell is with the Japanese Zero sign on all the American Jets ? If you are marketing this to the USA, put the USAF insignia on it.

Review NaN of 4
, from Kentucky

Price Paid:  $45.00 from Mall

Summary:
The game itself might not beat Ace Combat 04 graphics, but it sure makes up for it with the 60 diffrent planes, jets and helicopters all avalible to eventually fly. All have their own unique physics and real-life characteristics that's alot more to say about then Ace Combat 4 realisticness. And visually, the grahics are not bad, just compared to the techknowlogy of today's PC Flight Sims, it looks a little gagged. But if anyone remembers Janes FA(fighters anthology), visually it is superb compared to FA and offers not as many planes, but closer then anything else on a console. If you like Ace Combat 4 in anyway at all, its for your good to try this.

Summary:
Very good game. Nice graphics along with about 60 planes to boot. Did I mention I got a copy before the public release just because I suggested things to SEGA for the game? And I dont even work for them...
