Kemco Batman - Dark Tomorrow Adventure Review

Kemco Batman - Dark Tomorrow

Description
Explosions echo throughout the mean streets of Gotham as rival gangs battle for control of the city. Anarchy reigns supreme with the sudden disappearance of Police Commissioner James Gordan and the lockdown of Arkham Asylum, home for the criminally insane. By using all of his skills, both mental and physical, as well as a variety of gadgets, Batman must stop the gang war, infiltrate Arkham Asylum, and rescue the Commissioner. During this time, Batman must also piece together clues to discover the mastermind behind these seemingly unrelated events and stop an evil plan that threatens the fate of the entire world!

Summary:
If you're a fan of comic books than you will know the feeling of playing this game. After you finish reading a comic, there is this agonizing wait for a whole month until the next brief installment of the grand story is told.
That is what it is like to experience Dark Tomorrow...the cut-scenes kept me playing to finish the story, but actually having to play the game was the painful...agonizing wait.
If you love Batman...real Batman, the Dark Knight...RENT this game and fight the urge to hurl as you play the horrific levels...but it was almost worth it to confront The Joker as the Clown Prince of Crime...though...you don't actually fight Joker...but his thugs...but anyways the cutscenes are great.

Summary:
Good Grief!! When are these game designers going to learn?? Just because you have a great subject does NOT mean you can just put out a terrible game!! I have been looking forward to this game ever since it was announced and now that it is here I can't believe how bad it is. The only thing that it has in common with Batman is that it is about Batman. Batman can surely fight better than this. I kept getting killed by the thugs, that Batman should be able to handle easily. They caouls hit me 5 times and I have to start over, but I knock them down over and over and they kepp getting up. Oh unless I put the batcuffs on which is hard to do when you are fighting 6 guys at once. The controls are the absolute worst in any game I have ever played. The graphics are ok but hardly up to par with other games such as splinter cell. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GAME !!

Price Paid:  $49.00 from gamestop

Summary:
I'm a bat-fan, movies, comics, TV you name it, and I can respect the developers attempt at staying faithful to the comics with the latest foray into videogame merchandising. But no amount of kissing up to fan-boys can excuse this travesty, it is the worst game for gamecube I have ever played. ( i have played turok and dragon's lair 3d and they were much better) DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! Batman vengeance should win game of the year next to this trash. I seen more than one reviewer call this the worst game ever. I'm not sure about that but it is horrible and this is a warning. Fortunately I got my copy from gamestop and they let me exchange it for something else.
