Summary:
This game must be one of the best adventure games that ever has been made to the Playstation 2!? Except for Escape from monkey island, this is the best. From out of nowhere came this game, Ico. With a very simple story and almost no characters in it. And I always wonder, what makes this game good. I think it's for it's unorginality and it's puzzles, and the will to come out of the castle to free the guy that you play and Yoda. You can feel like it was yourself who was in there and tried to come out. Awesome. And that's the story if you think after, it's just to try to come out of the castle and save the girl, simple but it's good.

You play as a guy who has been sent to this castle cause he's not normal. He's born with two horns. You start to explore the castle, and soon you find kind pf a demon girl hanging in a cage up in the ceiling. And then the adventure begins.

To come out in the free this two characters have to work together, they don't understand each language but they do it very good. They go from all between demons, to puzzles. Sometimes the game can be very challenging. And sometimes very easy. For the most it's perfect. There's not much enemied, and a lot of puzzled. Great! This kind of games is what I like. But then we have the length of the game, that's not much to talk about. 8,5 hours playing and I was a little bit disappointed. I wanted more much more! Cause these kind of games doesn't grow on trees. But it was real fun to play Ico, those few hours it held. Absolutley fantastic game. Can't it come out a Ico 2!? :)

Summary:
Isnt it funny that for such an older title as Ico is it is still getting all the reviews I mean scroll this page and you'll see.I loved this game.It gave me a bit of nostalgia from games such as Heart of Darkness and Clocktower for the Playstation andPrince of Persia,Blackthorne and Out of This World(classic) for the SNES.These games were basic side scrolling with puzzles and above the competition in graphics and animation.Ico is a combo of all these titles with a 3d edge. It wasnt the hardest game I ever played but there were spots where I couldnt figure out what or where to go.I did spend ample time trying to figure out how to get to a higher destination near the end of the game It turns out it was a little thin black pipe that I mistook for part of the scenery. The game only took about 7 hours to complete in total it would have been quicker but I wandered around and was dazzled by the incredible architecture and landscapes of the game.I bought this game months ago and played about a quarter through and stopped.Talking to a friend who has this game and found it hard(sorry Rob) I decided to start it over from scratch and experience it whole. Im glad I did.And just when I thought I had escaped the Castle and completed the game it through me for a loop and I found I had about another half hour of game play left to beat.I totally recommend this game if you love long adventures and a not to stimulating ride with as much eye candy you can stand.Buy it,dont think just buy it......What are you waiting for buy it NOW!

Summary:
This Game is good, but flawed. The puzzles are way to easy, the battle system is sort of off.

Summary:
This is an awsome game. I used two straigt days to beat it. It used me approximately 10 hours of gaming time to beat it. And I have to say, and I rarely say this, this game is beautiful, absolutely beautiful. It has is flaws but overall, this is a game worth to play.
One thing I feel a bit unsatisfied is its story. I understand the intention of the developer to make the story untold so the whole game has a mysterious feel, and the players can use their imaginations. But I do think it will be better if there is more in-depth character portray. For example, some inner monologue, some conversation or whatever makes the characters more realistic and more memorable.
