from Best Buy Summary: Every once in a while, a game comes out that catches you so completely off guard with its coolness that you don't believe it at first. Sony seems to be the king of producing these types of games, as titles like Ico, The Mark of Kri, Fantavision (some people liked it, some people hated it, I liked it), and Frequency have failed to generate any hype for themselves yet are very excellent and strong games. The problem is, many of these games were overlooked despite their excellence, and unfortunately, Frequency is one of them.
Like I said earlier, one thing that bothers me about the videogaming industry is how certain genres are overlooked, despite some of the great games included in them. The music genre is one of these, and Frequency is one of these games stuck with a label of "Just another music game." The problem is, Frequency is so much more than a music game that people really need to just go out there and give it a try. This is a game that was very overlooked when it came out, and by now, has been reduced to as low as 10 dollars at some places. Frequency like one of those games that you wait to goes down in price, but when you get it, you realize that it was worth the full 50 bucks when it came out in the first place. Report this review >>
