Price Paid:  $15.00 from ebay.com

Summary:
Wow...This game is awesome. i first played this game on the demo that comes with the network adapter. I was hooked right there. The game is easy to learn but very very difficult to master. The music is really cool. i have let my friends try it out and they all were hooked right away. It makes no difference if you like music or not because you will love this game.

, from Somewere in the world

Price Paid:  $16.00 from Target

Summary:
This game is worthy of your time if you love music. I have played the violin for 9 1/2 years and still continuing. I read music as well, and belive it or not my reading ability has doubled just by playing this game. Anyway if you love music or want to see what it's like to play a certain instrument play this game you'll love it. I know I have.

Price Paid:  $20.00 from Best Buy

Summary:
Every once in a while, a game comes out that catches you so completely off guard with its coolness that you don't believe it at first. Sony seems to be the king of producing these types of games, as titles like Ico, The Mark of Kri, Fantavision (some people liked it, some people hated it, I liked it), and Frequency have failed to generate any hype for themselves yet are very excellent and strong games. The problem is, many of these games were overlooked despite their excellence, and unfortunately, Frequency is one of them.

Like I said earlier, one thing that bothers me about the videogaming industry is how certain genres are overlooked, despite some of the great games included in them. The music genre is one of these, and Frequency is one of these games stuck with a label of "Just another music game." The problem is, Frequency is so much more than a music game that people really need to just go out there and give it a try. This is a game that was very overlooked when it came out, and by now, has been reduced to as low as 10 dollars at some places. Frequency like one of those games that you wait to goes down in price, but when you get it, you realize that it was worth the full 50 bucks when it came out in the first place.

Review NaN of 12
, from chicago

Price Paid:  $30.00

Summary:
Frequency is the little game that could. Music games really aren't too popular in the US, probably because people don't really feel comfortable paying $50 for what they see as an interactive CD.

I agree with them, too! I paid $30 for Frequency, and I feel that this was a fair price point. $20 would be even better. At these prices, which I'm sure it can be found at, I'd recommend it to any 'techno' music fan out there with a PS2.
