Monopoly Party is an excellent game, in my opinion. It is fast, easy to play, has beautiful graphics, a fairly good soundtrack, excellent sound effects, and countless options to choose from. This game is great for people who love Monopoly but might not be around anyone to play the board game with. Also great for parties/groups, though I was turned off by the "Party" mode. One of the best features of this game is the freedom to customize your game rules. Things like getting $750+ when you land on Free Parking, or $400 when you land on GO, make this game MUCH more fun! (There are many more options for customizing too, such as number of houses & hotels, auctions on or off, fixed or flexible tax rates, etc.) Also there are several different languages you can play in, such as the UK, which is pretty much the same as US except all the property names are different (a small but interesting change).
The one thing I did not like about this game, was the fact that the Chance and Community Chest cards dont have the little pictures or animations on them. But with all of the enhancements to this game, that is pretty much irrelevant. I have had this game for over 2 weeks and am still in awe at how much this game has to offer. Another neat feature, is that it will create a player profile for you, and you can track your winnings, losses, most properties owned, etc.
This game also has Easy, Medium, and Hard levels for your computer opponents.
