Summary:
One thing that MIdway always does is that they screw up video games yet some are good. Yet some arcade games suck to. For instance NFL Blitz, was great on N64 but sucked on the arcade. And now Artic Thunder a great arcade game(mainly because of the rumbling snowmobile)sucks on the video game. Graphics are so cheap. Sound stinks. And lets not talk about corny. Let me explain a lil more...

Price Paid:  $53.00 from KB Toyworks

Summary:
I've been a huge fan of Midway's Thunder series since the first title in it called Hydro Thunder. That game was and still is one of my all time favorite racing games on Dreamcast or any other system. Next up came Hydro's follow up called 4 Wheel Thunder. The sequel ditched the whole water and boat theme and replaced it with off road action. While not quite as good as Hydro Thunder it was still a great piece of software despite its insane difficulty. Next up is the newest title in the Thunder series which im reviewing called Arctic Thunder. When I first heard about this game awhile back I was really happy. The Thunder series with snowmobiles. That just sounded so cool. I haven't really played many snowmobile games either so this got me into wanting it even more.

Ok so what's the Thunder series about you ask? It's all about wild high speed arcade style racing on insane tracks. Im happy to say Arctic Thunder retains all that feel perfectly and adds a few things of its own such as a new boost system and weapons as i'll explain.

Price Paid:  $50.00 from GAMESTOP

Summary:
I, THE KING OF PERU, MUST SAY THAT THIS GAME IS TERRIBLE.

I spent the better part of the hour that I played it squinting at the screen, attempting to make out what were apparently guys riding snowmobiles. I cannot reccomend that anyone buy this game. Renting it may be a much better idea.

Summary:
Wow- What a disappointment!!! artic thunder a game with a lot of potential but ruined by MIDWAY. I'm pissed I bought it because it is a rental only. Don't waste your money- The only reason I did is because ps2 is doing a horrible job spreading out there games.

In my opinion this game sucks. Personally I like Midways thunder series, alot. I thought Hydro thunder and 4 wheel thunder were outstanding titles and expected the same from this game, not even hesitating about buying it when I saw it in the store. Read below to find out why I thik it sucks.
