Price Paid:  $19.00 from Best Buy

Summary:
The game is a must have for any Evil Dead fan. The extras alone with the Bruce Campbell interview are worth the price alone. Bringing it back to where it all began was a nice touch also.

Summary:
Well being that I was hooked on horror/gore movies at a young age and seeing the evil dead movies and wanting to be Bruce Campbell even to this day I had to get this game.I feel it did stay true in storyline even if the scenery was not in the woods as the first 2 movies took place.Although remember the 3rd movie Army of darkness took place in medievil times. So dont be shocked when you travel back in time to civil war ridden Deerborne.Sadly no origanal sound bites from the movie. I wanted to hear "Ill swallow your soul"or "dead by dawn"Great ending to game, I smell a third game coming. All in all worth the $20 I paid.I really liked this game.GROOVY!

Summary:
The game is simple... think of it as a beat-em up. The game is based on evildead as you all know, but I think when making this game the programmers seemed to forget it was EVILDEAD they were making, this game just doesn't feel like evildead, sure u have a chainsaw, and u have hundreds of deadites, but there's just nothing really evildead about it. Ash, doesn't act like Ash, the deadites don't act like deadites...

People may not like Hail to the king but at least that game stayed true to evildead.

and as far as i am concerned evildead is in the woods, not in the streets of the civil war etc etc... the very least they could have done was give us a level where he went back to the cabin to fight Linda again or something... just something that was evildead....

Now this is a great game don't get me wrong, and i hate to nit-pick here, but thats just the way it is.
