from toys r' us Summary: Last year, I was eagerly awaiting the release date of this title. I had NBA 2K3, loving that, and I needed a college game that would complement the massive pro title. Because of EA Sports innovations, it has just become standard to import college players into pro games. I had been doing it with the EA Football games, and I loved it, and was looking forward to doing it with my favorite Basketball game.
Then College Basketball 2K3 dropped, and I bought it the very day. I was excited to play the game at first, but I quickly grew tired of it. For one thing, the graphics were dated. It was using the NBA 2K2 engine, and it left out the all important jab step that made NBA 2k3 so special. Also, there was no balance between the easy and the harder levels. Meaning, if you played on the 1st or rookie level, you were blowing out opponnents, no matter who they were. If you had one level up, it was ridiculously hard to beat the computer. I must have played it a good month, before I won the tournament and traded the game away.
This year, boy oh boy, I must say has been COMPLETELY different. I play this game so often I forget to sleep. Hell I play it more than the pro version. Why? Report this review >>
