Description Downhill Domination is based on the extreme sport of downhill mountain bike racing and puts players in control of a customizable mountain bike to race down vertical mountainsides and urban environments while performing stunts at speeds in excess of 60 miles per hour. Playable in first- and third-person perspectives, players will be able to select from one of 14 riders, including five pro-riders in an intense race to gain corporate sponsorship and a chance at the coveted Downhill Domination Championship.

Summary: If you're looking for your first mountain biking experience. Downhill Domination is The one. Plenty of riders, courses, bikes and cool stuff when you earn enough cash. The mountains are realistic as ever. Even the characters are greatly detailed with the mouth and body movements. The tricks are cool, just don't expect yourself to try these at home. The sense of speed is fast and furious, It could be my downside when I keep crashing during the race and the AI is sometimes cheating on me. Freeride is a "Go-Anywhere-you-want-to-go" mode. Freestyle is my not so good mode. Why? Because the goals (ala TONY HAWK) are way too hard to complete per level. The trick control is similar to SSX, but you only had to press the R2 button to jump. It was a fun ride while it lasted. Overall 4/5 (Rating)
Summary: Fun as hell gravity style, trick alot, X style game. Simmilar to all snow boarding games, but you are on a mt. bike instead of snow board. That said this is a great gravity style game. I mt. bike riligiously and this is not realistic, but who cares video games aren't supposed to be. My buddies are hooked on SSX tricky and this game is very similar: fun as hell, addictive, unbelievable tricks and scoring. All that aside, I would rent this game, as I loved playing it, was sad to return it, but do not plan on buying ever and will only rent it again if I have to be home in bed for an extended period of time.
Summary: By far the BEST game I've played in a long time! This includes MVP 2003 and Madden 2003, both of which I loved.
The graphics are awesome, the sounds are great and the action leaves you drained!
Being a MTB'er myself, its fun to win more money to buy parts from real bike companies that I've seen in all the bike mags.
I would highly recommend this game to anyone who loves to ride, and always wondered what it would be like to run into a tree at 50+MPH over and over again and live to tell about it!!
Summary: I haven't had this much fun racing since the original "Sled Storm" came out. Great graphics, a solid gaming experience...you actually "feel" like you are racing down the mountain, if that is possible sitting in a barcolounger. Best gaming investment I have made this year.

Summary: This game is a great game. I was wondering if it would turn out as good as other previews/reviews I had seen online (one being from E3). The graphics on those online video clips never do a game justice, so I wasn't sure at first but it turned out to be a very fun game with very good graphics, good music, and great bloody crashes, oh my!
