Summary:
Mobile light force 2 is a good game for anyone who enjoys vertical scrolling shooters. This game really brings back memories of some really good old school games. It has many characters and fast paced action to keep you busy when you are bored. All in all i find this to be a pretty good game for anyone who likes fast paced shooter action that gets harder as you play. Its also really simple, basically pick a character and play.

Price Paid:  $14.00 from Gamestop

Summary:
An old school vertical shooter, with some new school twists. There's a story line... but who cares. Just push start and get to blasting. Six pickable characters with very different weapons and specials. Decent graphics for PS2 but don't expect to be wowed. This game is actually very good, especially for the $15 price tag. It has a lot in common with some great shooters like those from the game company Treasure (makers of Radiant Silvergun and Ikaruga, two of the best shooters ever made). Two of the things that bring Treasure to mind are some interesting play mechanics, and the massive amount of enemy fire that fills that screen that is usually hard, but never impossible, to evade. For the price you can't go wrong, and I highly recommend this game to anyone who likes the genre. I have a feeling since no one will most likely even give this one a glance do to the lame cover art, this one will slip under the radar for most gamers, and will vanish into obscurity... possibly to reemerge as a rare collectable?
