Action Replay for the Xbox allow you to transfer your xbox save from its Hard Drive to your pc. This is great for backing up your saves, or even sending it to the internet. It as a community where people post their saves for others to use it.
Also best for softmodding! Strengths:
It comes with a 8mb memory card, usb cable that connects to the memory dock and to your cusb port, manual and installation disc.
The software for transferring saves is great, every user friendly, just drag a save and drop to either your pc or memory card. It as an online community where you can get saves from others or even Dantel creators and use as your own. The memory card is 8mb.
After reading the Weakness..read this. AR can be used to softmod your xbox. This is the only reason to buy it! Softmod your xbox.

Believe me this Action Replay is a WASTE!
You get an installation cd, once you install the program thats it..you don't need the cd anymore! Not unless you change pc and want to install the program again or to someone else's pc.
The AR itself is a complete waste! Other AR on consoles such as PS2 & GC allow you to fully customize the games system, like change characters skins, hack maps, unlock this and that. This AR doesn't do any of that, the only thing you can do is transfer your save games to your pc...that is all!
The price is a waste, you may think £30 for AR+ a memory card is a great deal. It isn't! In fact they don't sell AR alone anymore, it as to come with an 8mb memory card. If you want to buy this, please buy it preowned/used or buy it at a site/place that sells it below £25. Report this review >>
