Summary:
I have the light gun, and HOTD 3. It worked great on a 27" Magnavox CRT... But i bought a 30" 16x9 flat screen, Samsung HDTV with progressive scan and the gun goes crazy. I can't shoot past the left side of the screen. But the games look absolutely awesome it. So i am hoping that mad catz finds a way to past this issue.

I can't say much for the Mad Catz control pads. I own only the original Xbox and 1 Xbox controller S but buy this Mad Catz gun!! I bought 2 and saved $10.00!! Its $5 off from $39.99 when you buy House of the Dead 3 at EB games. They look a lot better in person than the picture. Mad Catz Blaster handles perfectly and accurately with the great Sega game,House of the Dead 3 after you configure it onscreen. It's built sturdy but light and responsive with all the autofire and autoload options and looks better than that generic cheesy watergun looking light gun Uzi for the PS2 that goes for 44 bucks. "Gamespot" said the Mad Catz Xbox light gun handled real well with no problems when they first initially played their copy of House of the Dead 3 before the street release. The only drawback is I hear people say it doesn't support HDTV,progressive scan and all that but nevertheless the Mad Catz light gun Blaster and Sega's great House of the Dead 3 game(includes HOTD 2 in it also) is a perfect combination and must buy!!!
