from Target Summary: Xbox Live is one of the best things for Xbox, if you have a broadband connection. Dial up users, sorry, no deal for you. Microsoft wanted minimal lag, so you'd better upgrade. And even though there is some lag, it is few and far between. Go get this, now. Stop reading. You also need a credit card. It is really easy to get started. All you have to do is pop in the starter kit disc, plug in a USB network cable (sold seperatly, its one of those white cables you plug into your computer to hook it up onto the Internet) and follow the instructions. There are some routers that need workarounds, and you will find a list of those routers on www.xbox.com/live. Once you sign up, you are good to go! There is an annual fee of 50 bucks in the US, and 90 bucks in Canada. One of the best features is a headset, which you can use to talk to other players online. There is a volume control, and if you don't feel comfortable using your real voice, you can always mask it. Overall, its a good service with some lag. Report this review >>
