Summary:
If you are an X-Men fan, this game has it all! Nice Graphics and Decent Gameplay, but best of all, this game has every costume for every character in the game! You cannot ask for much more if you are an X-Men fan! This is the best X-Men game to date by far! The look is this games best attribute, aside from the great content! I just wish the Fighting was deeper,Like Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance! But while playing this game, i was in a so-called "next dimension"! Great fun, would suggest to any comic book fan or fighting fan!

Summary:
I was really looking forward to this game since I am a fighting game fan and an X-Men fan. While the character selection is huge and satisfying, the game itself leaves a lot to be desired. It is disappointing on many levels: graphics, fighting, difficulty. This would have been a good game on the N64 or PS1 but not the X-Box (or any new generation game system). The game seems like it is not quite finished - the graphics and play could have been better but they said good enough and released it - which might indicate why it was released after the other 2 systems - 1 thing is for sure it was not to improve on the game. The only addition is the character Pyro. I would have prefered they spend more on improved graphics and gameplay. Story Mode is ok though there is little plot stringing together fight sequences - and you are limited in this mode to only a few characters - which is frustrating since you play with one and learn their moves but are forced to fight the last battle with Forge ???
Arcade mode is fighting which is ok since you can use all characters (a few are locked).
Definitely rent this first if you are interested in it before putting down the money to buy. I am sorry that I did not - it is very disappointing.

Summary:
Im not really a die hard gamer when it comes to fighting games. Maybe thats why I enjoyed this title so much. It was very refreshing from the usual Tekken fighting games. And the perfect fighting game to satisfy your taste buds til Soul Calibur 2 and Mortal Kombat is released. But with a very cool and very challenging Story mode on top of the multiplayer and arcade mode, this one is worth the money.
