Price Paid:  $20.00 from Gamestop

Summary:
I have to agree with the Review posted below by “TheYodaMan”: this game is a disappointment and I’m relieved I paid only $20 for it. The high production values can’t make up for the fact that the game controls are utterly wonky, levels are linear and uninspired, and the mandatory third-person view leads to immense frustration during combat. The overall effect is to make the game a joyless grind of restart after restart. I can’t help thinking that a couple of programmers and level designers, on loan from Ubisoft Montreal’s Splinter Cell dev team, could have turned this game into a real gem (and now that EA has bought a share of Ubisoft, this may happen with the next Bond title….?!). As it is, EoN suffers by comparison to Splinter Cell, Riddick, Halo2, and other action titles also graced with big production budgets, but with a much better understanding of console-based control schemes.

Summary:
Alright, I'm a huge 007 fan and have been for years. And, like many others, I'm always skeptical of games based off of good movies. It has ended too many times with a huge let down. This, while not nearly as severe of a disappointment as the Batman games or even Superman, it wasn't all I expected. It definitely has its good moments, but they are overshadowed, in my opinion, by a couple of big flaws that cause the gameplay to be quite frustrating at times.
