This game BLOWS! It is typical Electronic Arts garbage. Thank goodness for rental stores. This game is going to rip tons of loyal Goldeneye fans off. This "story" has nothing to do with the "Goldeneye" movie that EA shamelessly tries to capitolize on. It has to do with a rogue mi6 agent who was booted from service and serves the bad guys now who hooked him up with a replacement "goldeneye". A pathetic idea in which to drop the Goldeneye name to pump sales. Hopefully this will be enough to finally send EA the way of Acclaim, into an earned obscurity. I had the dude at GameStop pop this game into the display setup and I played about 5 minutes of it and knew right then, the hype and high expectations for this game were bugus. When I saw the very first evaporating and blood deprived dead guy, Goldeneye went immediately into the 19.99 bargin bin for me. After I rented it to try and give it a more worthy try, everything that I experienced my first try was validated. It sucks. The aiming is lunky and way more difficult than it needs to be. The weird eye effects are worthless because the enemy AI is so stupid that this game is a mindless run and gun. Who needs the eye to look and see where the baddies are hiding? Sorry luck if you paid 50.00 for this ripoff. This is the kind of crap EA is famous for. Hope you have fun in EA's new braindead dancing bad guy game. This game isn't worthy of a 3 rating. more like a 2 or 2.5 Really. Report this review >>
