Summary:
It's about time somebody put out a Godzilla game like this. I've been a kaiju geek my entire life and while NES had a couple of great Godzilla games, it's been pretty disappointing since. This one is an all-out brawl between most of the classic Godzilla heroes and villains and it's fun as hell. Soaring around the battlefield as Rodan is pure joy and letting loose with a triple blast of lightning from King Ghidora is truly satisfying. The game isn't perfect and is actually really difficult at times (even on easy you will get your ass handed to you at least a few times even after you've played for a while) but hey, it's Godzilla. Don't underestimate the destruction mode where you (and maybe a friend or 3) get a few minutes to just stomp a city flat. It doesn't sound that great at first, but trust me, it rules. Brings back memories of playing Rampage at the local arcade. You start out with 4 selectable monsters and only a few locations to fight in, but the more you play through adventure mode using different monsters, the more new cities and monsters you unlock.

Summary:
Played through the "Adventure" mode, and I had quite a few close calls while fighting through it. Example: I was fighting MechaGodzilla with Godzilla (1990s version), and we literally were both running extremely low on our remaining enegry. I was trying to power up for my special attack so to kill him off, but then POP, all of a sudden, MechaGodzilla starts to power up (the CPU and I were doing this at the same time) and *just before* I released the special attack button, the CPU let all hell go with its character's special attack, and I got killed. It's stuff like this that really makes me miss old-school videogaming. Whoo-hoo.

Summary:
If you are a Godzilla fan then you should already have this game. Incredible graphics, authentic sound, and challenging gameplay makes Godzilla DAMM a winner. If you are not a Godzilla fan, buy the game anyway...its worth the money!
