Summary: Munch's Oddysee, the second major game in the oddworld series has awesome graphics, sound, and gameplay but there is one major flaw, it doesn't live up to the tradition of it's predecessors.
Abe's Oddysee and Abes Exoddus(together considered by the creators to be really one installment) was a very well done sidescrolling puzzle/action/comedy game. Although Munch's Oddysee is a great game, it lacks the gaming skills neccessary for the previous game. I realized this after playing my old pc oddworld games about a week ago. Much's Oddysee is great in that there is improved interaction with the other characters, being able to swap between the two characters, awesome abilities, and the more of the series' traditional humor, but it's way too easy compared to AO and AE, there is way less puzzle solving, way less thinking involved, practically no secret areas unlike the other two had, and not nearly enough use of posess-able characters. In the other two games you could posess other charactes as well but once you did, there was so much more you could do and say as that character.
Munch's Oddysee is definitly a lot of fun and an awesome game. It's worth a try, but if you've played the others, don't expect the same level of strategy and puzzle solving involved as in the first game, this one is so much simpler that my five year old cousin had no trouble playing it, and not much more beating it.
Summary: Oddworld Inhabitants desevers to be mentioned in the same breath as Tecmo's Team Ninja, Sega's Smilebit, and Microsft't Bungie as the ELITE developers on the XBox. Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee was written off by me for being a crap game from playing the demo of it on the Halo cd. That demo was not really a very good representation of the game. Plus I listen to the profession reviews calling it not a good game, basically. Halo got all the attention. But, Oddworld is a stunning game on the level of Halo. Maybe it doesn't have Halo's lasting appeal, but it's stunning and fresh nonetheless.
Summary: Great platform game with alot of personality. I played the first two games on the PC, and this XBOX game is definitely the best of the series.
Summary: The oddworld, hmm, i cant remember last time i payed that on xbox. First time i played the game I was impressed with everything. Then i left. Here i am a year later talking about a platform game that is , well kinda old. That doesnt matter though. If its still good, then its still in. I dont know what all complaining about bad bad bad stuff in the game is. Maybe the rason the graphics look bad is because your t.v.'s picture is bad, like its too bright or too much color. That can do it. But anyways. Here i am to say this, oddworld munch's oddysee is still a great game , and when i ayed the game. Its got cool powers, levels, and the games got two good characters, munch and abe. So anyone that says the game sucks, that usually means that the person is just jealous of the game being cooler than they are. I hear alot if ppl with ps2 complaining that how crappy it is. That because they want it, and there jealous. So my point is, the oddworld games still lives on for platform of the xbox.

Summary: How would you feel if you broke your leg in a scrab trap, were abducted by soulless scientists, had an alien device implanted in your skull, and found out your race had been hunted to extinction? Meet Munch, hero of the most magnificent yet Oddest Oddysee of all. His luck is about to change - for the worse.
The day of amassing small fortunes, via the wholesale harvesting of the Gabbit species, has surely passed. Due to the rich variety of consumer products derived from these adorable amphibious creatures: such as skin oils, protein shakes, waterproof luggage, transplantable lungs, Gabbit skin boots, and the incredibly delicious delicacy "Gabbiar" their legacy has nearly come to its end. For the Gabbit, there is only one lonely individual that survives. However, it won't be spotted where one might typically find such a Gabbit. This one is currently an entrapped test subject within the horrible animal testing facility known as Vykkers Labs.
It's up to the game player to help guide Munch in efforts to rescue fellow test animals. For once free, these critters will be forever loyal to Munch and in turn enable his escape and delivery to the safety of the Freed Mudokon. Once free, Munch teams up with Abe and together they are guided by the wisdom of the Almighty Raisin. They are informed as to how to accomplish their goals, but in order to do so, they must work together. For Munch, his dream is to bring back his species from the brink of extinction. For Abe, it is to rescue his Mudokon buddies.
