Summary:
I am a big Superman fan. I tried to make this game fun, and the best I can say is that its okay. If I could combine the PS2 Superman with the XB Superman, Id be damn happy. As Kevin said, he flies terribly, and the power charging stinks. Decent controls, but an overall 'pleh' of a game.

Summary:
This game is bad. Im sorry. It falls just between the Ps2 Superman and the N64 Superman. The flight is aweful, he feels and looks like a wooden Kal-El. He is poorly animated and can't even fall quickly to the ground. No barrel rolls, loop turns, 180s, or ANYTHING other than fly forward. The game isnt good, just isnt good.

Price Paid:  $40.00 from Game (a UK store)

Summary:
Not at all bad! It takes some getting used to, but for a Superman fan, such as myself, it isn't too disaponting! Enemies are all a variation of the same premise, so battling them non stop can become a bit drawn out. Graphics are fantastic, the scope and detail is huge (but then it is the Xbox) and they've come up with some cracking views of the world which Superman in habits! Best thing though is the bonus material, with a choice of several costumes and a free roam mode, which is the best of all! Overall its a game that you will be disappointed with if you buy it with high expectations. Don't take it too seriously and you should be plesently surprised!

Price Paid:  $50.00 from Electronics Boutique

Summary:
This game is a lot of fun, but unfortunately seems to have been overlooked in favor of Infogrames' other Superman title, Superman: Shadow of Apokolips. However, even if you already have that game, Man of Steel is still a worthy purchase for its rich comic influence and multiple supervillains.

Summary:
This is a very fun superhero game that delivers exactly what it promises- it puts you in the boots of the Man of Steel. The controls are easily learned, and you quickly find yourself accomplishing a great variety of superfeats with ease. These include catching bank robbers, lifting MASSIVE objects and flying them to where they're needed, rescuing trapped civilians, and even chasing down speeding missiles that are targeting the city!
