Price Paid:  $50.00 from Best Buy

Summary:
THIS IS THE WORST GAME YOU WILL EVER PLAY - SO DON'T. What a waste of money and ten hours of life. It starts with an great premise - take real historical battles and guide a warrior through them to shape the fate of a dynasty. Hey it even promises that you can ride killer elephants. Don't ever buy a game on that promise. I can just see the developers now - "Hey here is our great premise for DW3, now what? I know! Let's turn the whole thing into a hacknslash with no AI, counter-intutitve game play, bad character upgrades, and a techno soundtrack!" Because nothing goes with honorable death in 1170 AD quite like techno. In the vernacular of NBA commentator Bill Walton, "That's terrible." The only intersting thing about the game is that one of the characters looks like a Vega rip-off from Street Fighter 2. My advice if this excites you- take your 50 bucks, go buy a used Genesis and Street Figher 2. I repeat, "That's terrible."

, from hanford, CA

Price Paid:  $5.00 from rented at hollywood video

Summary:
I rented this game a while back because I'm was such a huge fan of Romance of the 3 Kingdoms and Koei games in general. It's not what I expected at all, but I was utterly impressed by what has to be the best concept for a game I've seen in years. This game has it all! Tons of characters that improve with experience, multiple sides to the story, MASSIVE environments, heartpounding action, strategy, awesome weapons, multiplayer buttkicking, and an incredible challenge. Here's the concept: you play as a general for one of 3 armies and ride into huge battles (I'm talking THOUSANDS of NPC's battling it out at once over huge battlefields) and turn the tide in your armies' favor. You and your bodyguard(s) (you can choose two regular troops or one badass general to acompany you) hack and slash your way through endless enemy troops as other friendly generals lead their units against the enemy generals' units in epic clashes. You take down the enemy generals (who are as strong as you are) and scatter the opposing army's units, thus clearing the way for your allies to eventually advance on the enemy ruler and send him packing. Since I rented this game I can't stop thinking about how brilliant it is. I must buy it soon. It's headache-inducingly difficult and frustrating at times, but damn is it good!

Price Paid:  $50.00 from Gamestop

Summary:
This is the best game I have played yet. When you play on split screen you are able to do your double Mosou attack. Crazy all out attack that destroys all nearby enemies. No one person can destroy you during the mosou attack. well worth the money and will keep you busy for hours. so addicting your brains will spill outta your head and then you become the general of your bodygaurds. Long live General Zhou Yu and the Wei Clan.

Price Paid:  $54.00 from Gamecrazy

Summary:
I can admit this is a simple game but it's one of those that the fact that it is simple you just love it. All you have to do is one thing. Kills everyone in your way and lay them down. And the fact you can now do it in co-op is even better. I miss games like this. Especially the time I played it and killed over 2800 of the enemy.
