Well, if you've played the series before, you know what's up with this game. If not, check out the reviews for Dynasty Warriors 3 then come back. Their is not a lot of new in this game, but there is enough to warrant this one to fans of the series looking for some new levels and characters (there are over 40 different warriors overall plus the ability to make your own). Having only rented DW3, I can't remember enough to elaborate on all the differences. You can switch characters in this one, which is a brilliant, if a little obvious, addition to this installment. I mean, who has time to play the game 40+ times to see it with every character. Each character is unique in their attacks and weapons which is astonishing, and they gain levels (and combos) based on how much ass they kick in a given level. You can also accept one on one challenges from enemy generals now in mid battle. Plenty of new items to find too. If you don't know this series, pick this one up today, it's an incredible action/strategy game that is unlike anything else out there. Report this review >>
