Summary:
The original Star Wars Starfighter Special Edition I hated with a passion. Unconventional controls, really outdated graphics and boring un-inspired missions--so I was very pleasantly surprised too discover the second edition Star Wars Jedi Starfighter was really improved!

But, if you really want the best Star Wars space fighter game, I recommend instead too go with the PC classic "Star Wars: X-Wing Alliance" which would now run awsome on almost any computer less then three years old and its an awsome, awsome game.

But for consoles, Star Wars Jedi Starfighter seems too be the only cool choice, so I recommend it too Star Wars fans.

Summary:
The first time i played jedi starfighter was at wal-mart on the ps2. I maybe played one level. Overall it was good. It could have been better. So when i got my xbox, i decided to rent it after when playing the game. I didnt get to play it for long caus of work and chores and school. I liked how u could train and everything and also i liked some of the bonuses. Overall i think xbox should have gotten rogue squadron instead of jedi starfighter.

Summary:
Overall this is not a game to buy. It's very short and really doesn't give you any feeling of involvement in the game. Rent it, play it until you're sick of the voice overs and return it. It shouldn't take too long - it's a pretty short game for the single player.

Summary:
overall the game was ok. It could have been improved in many ways. The rogue squadron games were the best flying simultaion star wars games ive played. That is what xbox should have got instead of jedi starfighter. Then it would be different than ps2. The graphics were not really improved for the xbox. The sound was though. The framrates to me were smooth in some levels but some had terrible framrates. This was my first game with my xbox believe or not. At first i was going to take it back and get halo, which i should have gotten but i decided to stick with the star wars game. After a while i grew attached to it. But really , it would be cool if xbox got rogue squadron 2. Rogue squadron 2 looked good on gc. There werent many framrate problems and the sound was good also. Jedi starfighter, again, is average which means to many, "its good."

Summary:
This is one of the best Star Wars games I have ever played, and much better than the original Starfighter in my opinion. It even has a good storyline and great voice acting.
