Summary:
You are a female/vampire heroine that must rid the world of Nazi scum! What a great game! It can get repetative at times, but slicing and dicing arms and heads off never gets old. Beside the double blades, Agent BloodRayne has a ton of guns at her disposal to lay waste to the enemy! The game opens in Lousiana, where you have to take care of some zombie and spider like creatures. After that your are dispatched to South America to make sure the Nazis dont get their hands on a ancient artifact. Solid Gamplay, OK graphics and Good Sound make for a bloody fun time!!**Also: In one room in South America there sits the Lost Ark of the Covenant!**

Summary:
Wow, the reviews on this page are bipolar. So, is this the greatest third person adventure for Xbox, or a pile of p00? That seem to be the choices going by all the reviews below mine. The answer is neither, actually. The game starts off slow, which may have kept many away and one idiot kid reviewing this based on the first level! The first level! Do us all a favor and don't post a review till you're at least four or five hours in, at the minimum. Other than that, you're wasting everyone's time, including your own. Moving on, that first level and it's giant spiders really are bad. It's not a good start. But the game really starts on level three. From there in you have a crazy, off the wall B-movie type classic videogame. The kind of game the hardcore will cherish and love and will emerge as a cult classic in a couple years. In fact, Bloodrayne is the Ramones of Xbox. Despite everyone loving it, the sales are never there. We're in Oddworld territory with this one. Amazing game, no sales. And that's too bad, because what this game has more of than most is fun. With a capital F U. Full of attitude and sex appeal, the gore is everywhere and the action is fast. Some say it's too easy, what with being able to suck everyones blood and keeping your health up. I can see that. It wasn't a cake walk, but it isn't too difficult. But this isn't supposed to be a Tomb Raider, where you might die every few feet. This is all about the massacre. Charging in at full speed where you can do triple flips, and blow people apart. Blow chunks out of people with uzis while doing cartwheels. You've got that bullet time that seems to be a requirement these days and you can wrap your legs around a guy and suck him. Don't be nasty, you know what I mean. I know all my catergorys are less than five, then the overall is a five, but that's because I'm not blind to it's faults. But the fun overcomes all faults. Bloodrayne has a lousy couple of opening levels and the story is slight, not very involving. The graphics are nice to a degree, but the lack of certain details and low to no textures scream PS2 port. Curse that PS2, always messing with our Xbox multiplatform releases. But even these problems that should have been fixed don't stop it from being unbelievably fun. Shall we count how many times I say Bloodrayne is fun? It can't be said enough. I mean, you're a kung fu vampire chick with a dirty mouth who spreads gore aplenty and dresses like Hot Topic. How can you not love that? And mutilating Nazis never gets old. Never. If killing people is boring, I don't want to be entertained. Uh, or something like that.

Review NaN of 19
, from Bangor, Me

Price Paid:  $20.00 from E-bay

Summary:
This game is a must have. The graphics are incredible and the game has a great blend of hand to hand fighting, except that you have wrist blades similiar to Wolverines, along with a huge range of weapons, Panzerfausts, Mg32's,Reugers, shotguns. This game is similiar to Blood Omen 2 and Soul Reaver in the fact that you need to suck blood to sustain life but the gameplay is so much better. You will find yourself sparing some of your,"Cattle" so that after you fight a particulary hard boss or character, you can regain your health from an easy source. This game has it all, a hot main character, cool weapons, awesome story line, and some unique and challenging Bosses. Besides fighting supernatural biological Bosses you also have a Hit-list of tough aryan military officers to check out. Check oout Mauler whos is a humongous aryan warrior that resembles a Nazi Hulk, complete with tattoos and suspenders and boots. He looks like an experiment gone awry or the "butcher" or dr. who is a super hot voluptous blond with a craving for blood-letting.

Price Paid:  $5.00 from rental

Summary:
Do not buy this game! It is one of the most repetitive games ever. I played it for two nights and didn't ever get into it. Wow, you push the left trigger a bunch of times and u swing blades. Plus, you really have to limit the use of your guns or you will run out of ammo. The harpon deal for sucking blood was cool a couple of times, but then u just get tired of watching it. All and all, the game sucks.
