from GameStop Summary: Not a hardcore gamer or ever played the PC version but have heard alot about it over the years. So when the Xbox version came out, I decided to try it out and see what all the hoop-la was all about.
In a nut-shell, it's a very simple concept game that is surprisingly addictive. There is not much more you can say about that. You pick a side, start from a "home-base" and play a seek and destroy until one side wins. Not much more to it then that. What I do like is, once you are dead, you are dead until the game is over and start all over again.
I will say, if you don't have Xbox Live, this game is not worth getting. Single player version is nothing more then a place to hone your aiming skills for online play. No missions involved, just get up and go type of play.
For Xbox Live, it's great, get to play with folks from all over the world and try real-time team tactics with people who are willing. Sucks playing against fools who hide in corners and tap you out with a headshot as you look for them. Oh well, whatever it takes to win I guess...just not my style.
No Xbox Live? Skip it and rent it to check it out.
Xbox Live? I think it's worthy addition, practice alot though, you will die early and fast when first starting out. Report this review >>
